Systems Engineering Integration and Test (I&T) Engineer is sought to support a major Lockheed Martin Program. This role involves supporting multiple platform configurations for various customers, both domestic and international. Thus, clear communication and the ability to rapidly address emerging product delivery issues is desired.

This role involves planning for risk mitigation, organizing options and combinations of HW, and working with teams and individuals to implement parallel actions. All product specific tasks of this role can be learned on-the-job. This requires organization, planning, direct but friendly communication, and the willingness to work with and learn from more experienced leads.

Specific work can include:
- Working with the integration team and assets to ensure success long before test needs
- Coordinating Capital equipment orders, repairs, troubleshooting, expense planning, and allocation among programs in advance
- Perform testing, attending SIL and Flight Test Events both domestically and Internationally
- TRR and FTRR reviewer and building to become a product Subject Matter Expert
- Coordination with Software Engineering to receive and report SW issues, negotiate new changes and ensure SW OFPs are effective and noted
- Coordination with Product Support / Field Support (Logistics and Sustainment) to route maintenance training, sustainment activities in field, flight or operational issue information

A Systems Integration Engineer verifies that testable hardware and software modules can be assembled and connected in a manner that achieves the overall system's physical, functional and performance requirements objectives. This responsibility applies to both newly designed developmental items and mature hardware coming off the assembly line. The design verification process is performed to a well- constructed Integration and Test plan derived from requirements generated in DOORS and associated ICD's which validates built-in system performance from the lowest level modules to the final assembled system.
Systems Integration Engineers must operate comfortably with all engineering disciplines including software engineers, designers, and production personnel. Interface with suppliers of modules and critical hardware vendors is an important associated activity. The ability to troubleshoot problems and coordinating other system integration participants is of great value in performing these duties. Broad system knowledge including an understanding of the subsystem hardware and software capabilities in servo control, sensor capabilities, emitter capability and permissions for use, intended application, and safety related issues are very important. Basic Qualifications
A valuable capability for a Systems Integration Engineer is the ability to manage security issues including protection of classified hardware and software, software loading requirements and capabilities, and use and management of associated test equipment

Candidate must have at a minimum an interim secret clearance prior to start

Desired skills
Experience with pod mounted sensors on aircraft is highly desired

Experience with DOORS is of significant benefit
