The Common Missile Compartment Program on the Fleet Ballistic Missile Program is looking for it's next enthusiastic and motivated individual to take on a systems engineering role. The role initially will involve coming up to speed on Risk Management as well as Government Furnished Information and Equipment (GFI/GFX) that CMC will need for successful execution of our program. In this role you will have interface to our engineering team, program management team as well as various customer interfaces. Additionally as bandwidth allows there will be some additional SEIT design activities to be supported. This role has the flexibility for the right candidate to make it into there own and take complete ownership

*Ability to obtain SECRET Clearance required for this role
*This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen

Basic Qualifications
BS in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education with commensurate years of professional experience

Experience assessing program-level risk management

Technical Leadership experience preferably in a multi-disciplinary team environment

Experience developing presentation packages, consolidating inputs from multiple engineers, for purposes of briefing various levels of leadership

Desired skills
Familiarity with Fleet Ballistic Missile Program and “The Mission”

Working knowledge of use of Government Furnished Requests (GFI/GFX)

Experience in leadership roles demonstrating the ability to work with minimal direction and maintain accountability and execution

Ability to work directly with customer counterparts while maintaining a success oriented mind set

Working knowledge of how risk is managed

Experience with system engineering activities such as requirements definition and verification

Exceptional organizational skills

Motivated, enthusiastic and positive attitude

Excellent communication skills

Willingness to learn and expand beyond assigned tasks to support larger program goals

Experience with driving stakeholders to resolution while meeting program commitments

Ability to work independently to drive tasks to completion
