This position will support Space Based Infrared System (SBIRS) program on the Engineering Manufacturing Development (EMD), Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) SBIRS follow-on production (SFP), and GEO 5/6 Production & Modernization contracts . The qualified candidate will directly support the SBIRS SEIT System Test and System Integration Teams as mission lead responsible for performing Systems of Systems integration, Systems Engineering, System Test, and end-to-end System Interface Engineering, Integration and Test. The successful applicant will be based in Aurora, Colorado with travel to Boulder, CO, Schriever AFB, Azusa, CA as required and will interface with multiple contractor and government development, test, acquisition, and operations organizations. The position will be lead all planning and execution for any mission activities across the SBIRS enterprise. Additional duties will include leading efforts to improve combined segment/system deliveries, deployment of new Technical Intelligence and Battlespace Awareness Capabilities/Concepts with the Joint OPIR Program Office, and managing enterprise mission test campaign to ensure successful new capability and non-degradation to current operational performance. Also performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal

Basic Qualifications
• Minimum 12 years of aerospace systems engineering, system integration, and systems test, requirements and verification experience required with a with a minimum of 3 years of SBIRS program mission testing, performance analysis, and software algorithm improvement efforts
• Hands-on experience with delivery of complex high visibility systems of systems through planning to operational delivery is required. This includes the installation, integration, test of complex space & ground systems, development of test plans and procedures, handover/acceptance criteria, integrated DT/OT testing of SBIRS and other DoD systems
• Extensive knowledge of the SBIRS missions and current operational system software and hardware infrastructure
• Experience with DoD and Air Force space acquisition
• Must have excellent written, verbal, and presentation communications skills and is expected to interface with senior contractor and government leadership on a regular basis.
• Current DoD clearance is required

Desired skills
Experience with SBIRS Processes to include program review boards, configuration management, requirements verification, and Government Furnished Equipment.
• Proven leadership of integrated testing campaigns
• Experience in leading people and teams required
