This position is for the F-35 Logistics Engineering & Technology Organization New Business Chief Architect. The selected candidate will report to the F-35 Market Segment Chief Engineer within the organization and work collectively with the F-35 Logistics Chief Architect, Development Architect, and the Sustainment Architect in executing a holistic vision of the F-35 Logistics vision and strategy.

Specifically, this role will focus on the growth and opportunity of the product line by developing, solutioning, and leading system and system design activities that deliver opportunity for continued evolution of our F-35 franchise. It is expected that the selected individual will work closely with our customers and our technical and programmatic leadership teams in securing technology advancements and forward thinking new capabilities utilizing demonstrated strength in architectural thinking and design and analysis methodologies.

This role will also work side by side with the Lead PMO who will run the New Business organization for F-35 Logistics. They will serve as the technical liaison and POC for the market segment chief engineer and chief architect in driving strategic goals into strategic capture. Working with the organizational EPMs is a fundamental part of the daily execution of the role.

A strong and very experienced Architect is a must for this role; with the ability to be adept in understanding the current product state and future states that accelerate, adapt, and optimize the F-35 Logistics technical baseline for evolutionary change. Requires exceptional critical thinking skills and excellent customer interaction and business experience. This vital role will grow, cultivate, and achieve new business opportunities with recognized technological expertise and respected depth in the market space on Logistics

Basic Qualifications
A strong innovative thinker with Architectural credentials and penchant for technical baseline business growth

Expert communicator and exceptional skill at building relationships and connecting customer future needs to potential future architectural solutions across the logistics enterprise.

A strong background in IT based and transaction based systems with proven track record of evolving and optimizing systems for prominent growth

Ability to cross collaborate among the development and sustainment teams to achieve a seamless leadership team with a broad and understood architectural vision with short and long term goals.

Self Starter with familiarity and experience in business capture. Able to work within all aspects of new business and growth; from concept through proposal and post award implementation/direction.

Comfortable with daily interactions, presentations, and problem solving situations with our customers, engineers, and program office. Must possess a facilitating approach to reach near and long term strategy goals.

Experience with creating and driving technical Strategy. Expected to work to solidify the Strategic Plan and, equally important, execute the strategic steps to secure future evolution of the franchise

Desired skills
Prior F-35 Logistics experience a plus;
Certified Systems Architect;
Demonstrated experience in Business Capture and Growth from a technical architect role;
Willingness to travel and orchestrate complex issues among a diverse set of customer and company leadership teams;
Enjoys fast pace, shifting environments with complex and challenging deadlines
