Systems Administrator for Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) for RoKAF Operational Squadron located in Cheongju, Korea

The ALIS System Administrator will perform system administration tasks, including but not limited to: system management, information/data security, and system configuration control.

System Administrators are expected to provide maintenance of ALIS to include performing backups, applying any operating system updates and configuration changes, installing information assurance vulnerability alerts (IAVAs), installing and configuring any new hardware/software.

System Administrators are generally the first point of contact for customer inquiries and are responsible for adding/deleting/modifying user account information, resetting passwords, answering technical queries, responsibility for security, responsibility for documenting the configuration of the system, and troubleshooting any reported problems.

In addition to performing Sys Ad tasks, the role may require the SysAd to perform Security functions. This requires the use of a series of automated auditing tools augmented with manual processes to ensure that auditing occurs to guarantee compliance of the accredited systems with established security policies.

- The selected applicant selected may be required to work at deployed locations, work rotating shifts, and work in excess of 40 hours per week.

- Deployment and continued employment is contingent upon successful receipt of Program Special Access clearances AND completion of the OJT required at Lockheed Martin’s training locations prior to international assignment. Training will occur primarily at Luke AFB in Glendale, AZ. Other locations may include but are not limited to: Nellis AFB, NV, Hill AFB, UT; Eglin AFB, FL; Edwards AFB, CA; Fort Worth, TX; Orlando, FL; Yuma, AZ; Beaufort, SC

- Relocation: Relocation is available for this exciting international assignment

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

Proven Sys Ad Experience using:
• MS Windows 7
• MS Windows Server 2012
• MS Office 2007 Pro

Proven experience as a Systems Administrator employing a majority of the following technologies:
• EMC Network-attached Storage (NAS)/Storage Area Network (SAN) Technology
• Virtualization Technology
• WAN/LAN Infrastructure & Technology
• Web Application Server Technology
• Messaging and Messaging Queuing Technology
• Application Troubleshooting
o Customer Relationship Management (CRM):
o Industrial and Financial Systems (IFS)
• Scripting (shell, batch)

- Must be willing to travel, to include CONUS/OCONUS deployments for extended periods depending on operational needs
- Position may require the ability to perform in an arduous duty environment and subject to all applicable U.S. Government requirements. A detailed list of these requirements will be available at the time of interview and employment will be contingent on agreement and compliance with such requirements.

- Successful candidate must be capable of passing USN medical, dental and overseas screening requirements and must maintain their medical fitness for this position

Desired skills
1) Previous experience, current knowledge, and developed skills in system administration, especially in are highly desired and preferred.

2) Desired certifications include:
• Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA or MCSE)
• Certified SOLARIS system administration

3) Knowledge of Windows audit policy and ability to manually audit security logs to ensure compliance with security policy.

4) Experience using Splunk Enterprise Operational Intelligence tools for Auditing

5) Experience and knowledge of Korean language and culture would be a plus
