Lockheed Martin's Laser Systems and Sensors Business is seeking an Integration and Test Engineer to join our team. Work with, and lead teams in the Integration and Test of innovative laser based systems that are field deployable in military and commercial environments. Responsibilities include:

• Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems
• Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints
• Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem
• Work with multidiscipline IPT teams to develop and track requirements verification validation plans, process and tests, to develop systematic diagnostics architecture and implement in system design
• Perform configuration management and data management of I&T artifacts
• Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems
• Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems
• Assist in the development of white papers, proposals, and presentations
• Develop and track system level metrics

Security Clearance Requirements: Applicants selected will be subject to government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Relocation: Relocation may be available

Basic Qualifications
Experience with subsystem and/or system testing activities and preparation of comprehensive test evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance

• Minimum 5 years of I&T experience developing complex systems for defense applications
• Minimum 7 years of technical experience
• Experience developing and implementing test methods and equipment. Experience compiling data and defining changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, or new testing requirements
• Exceptional ability of effective communication with multidiscipline technical staff
• A demonstrated technical expertise in one or more subject matter areas, and has knowledge of other related disciplines
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with other organizations, all levels of management, professional and support staff, customers, potential customers, and government representatives
• Strong analytical skills
• Self-starter excels in a team environment

Desired skills
planning, scheduling, and coordinating workloads to meet established project deadlines or milestones
• Proficient in DOORS and JIRA
• Experience in optical or laser systems is preferred
• Experience in Specialty Engineering (accessibility, manufacturability, serviceability, EMI, environmental, safety, human factors etc.)
• 5 years in laser or optical systems development
