Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. This is Lockheed Martin’s lead business unit for research development and production of manned and unmanned ground-vehicle systems, electro-optical and smart munitions systems and is a pioneer in the field of versatile, high-performance missile and rocket technology
Applicant will be responsible for designing High Density, High Reliability, High Speed Surface Mount PWB's with some Thru Hole, Flex, Rigid-Flex designs. Designs will mostly consist of 10 or more layers, with double sided assemblies. Candidate will be primarily responsible for placement, layout thru fabrication, and artwork creation using Lockheed Martin Orlando's design process's and IPC-2221 design Standards

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering Technology requred, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience.
- Proficiency with printed wiring design tool required (DxDesigner, PADS, Cadence, Zuken)
Senior Printed Wiring Board (PWB) Designer with Mentor Graphics Boardstation DxDesigner/Expedition a must. Should have a thorough knowledge of PWB layout design.
Applicant should have Blind/Buried/Micro via's experience, with high pin count BGA's, along with other fine pitch Surface Mount Devices experience such as LGA's

Desired skills
- Bachelors degree in mechanical or electro-mechanical engineering preferred
- Working knowledge of Mentor Graphics printed wiring board design tools preferred.
- Working knowledge of IPC PWB design standards IPC-2221, -2222, -2223, -2226 preferred.
Other Software PWB software a plus
Fabrication running on Windows is preferred
Advanced Hyperlynx PWB expertise a plus
