Join MITRE's Electronic Systems Development team implementing the state of the art electronic prototypes for advanced sensor and communication systems.  Candidates will be a member of  a team architecting and designing RF and mixed signal prototypes.  We are interested in highly motivated candidates with a wide variety of skills and interests in RF, analog, and mixed-signal system design.

Key Functions:

  • This position provides an exciting opportunity to collaborate on the specification, system architecture, design, and prototyping of advanced RF electronics for communications, navigation and sensor system architecture, and participating on design teams through prototype development including integration, prototype testing, and field test in a variety of environments.

Required Qualifications:

  • The candidate must have a solid fundamental understanding of RF, analog, and mixed-signal design as well as practical knowledge of communication and/or sensor systems.

  • Experience in the design, integration and evaluation of prototype RF and mixed-signal subsystems used in communications or sensor systems is desired.

  • Knowledge of wireless communication systems, including recent developments in commercial wireless protocols and waveforms such as LTE, is highly desirable..

  • Experience with performance tradeoffs between analog and digital functions is highly desired.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in one of the following disciplines, Electrical, Computer or Systems Engineering and 3 years of related experience. The candidate will possess demonstrated ability to provide deliverables or parts of deliverables to customers.
