Primary job duties include:



-Responsible for providing technical electrical power systems leadership for complex and critical industrial facilities



-Specific areas of focus include providing options and recommended solutions that will enable the electrical system to provide maximum uptime and minimum planned and unplanned interruptions to service, for the facility



-Engineer will interface with a wide range of technical and non-technical stakeholders, including other electrical engineers, other multi-discipline engineers, site operations personnel, facility general managers, end-customer factory and data center management, construction personnel, and local municipalities/utilities



-Provide leadership in FMEA analysis for critical facilities



-Develop and implement innovative engineering and design solutions to support very aggressive program and construction schedules that minimize downtime to the facility



-Effectively interact with several internal engineering organizations to influence design standards, construction specifications, and operations requirements to ensure these enable facilities to meet their operational success metrics



-Perform conceptual engineering analysis for multiple scenarios that can include high level schedule and/or budget development, as well as risk mitigation analysis, to help customers and stakeholders make critical business decisions based on time, cost, and downtime constraints



**Qualifications**



Required:

-Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, and a minimum 6+ years' experience in engineering, operation, construction, and maintenance of facilities electrical power systems

-Candidate must have superior electrical engineering power expertise

-The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing the operation of and/or updates to, electrical power systems for large industrial facilities

-Experience working with high tech critical industries where maximizing utility robustness and up-time is imperative

-Experience with construction, startup, turnover and operation / maintenance of facilities mechanical, process and electrical systems

-Ability to effectively communicate technical engineering options and recommended solutions to a wide audience of technical and non-technical stakeholders

-Experience with National Electric Code (NEC) and NFPA 70E



Preferred:

-Familiarity with data center and semiconductor power systems

-Familiarity with Easy Power software as well as other power monitoring systems

-Nuclear Power Plant experience

-Familiarity Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) associated with electrical equipment
