We have an exciting career opportunity for a Sr. Integration Electrical Engineer working in our Electrical Engineering group in Poway, CA location.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



+ Provides solutions to technical issues associated with electrical wiring interconnect system (EWIS) design on the aircraft electrical system.

+ Supports operation of electrical engineering systems by evaluating and interpreting needs and problems and develops effective approaches to resolving those issues.

+ Responsible for generating design manuals and training material to educate Jr. Level integration engineers.

+ Creates test plans, fixtures and procedures to perform tests to validate design methodology.

+ Applies basic technical knowledge to analyze, investigate and resolve assigned routine engineering problems.

+ Develops appropriate documentation of findings and implemented solutions, and communicates results to engineering staff.

+ Works with electrical, mechanical, structural, and software engineers to ensure cross disciplinary design requirements are met.

+ Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.

+ Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

**Job Qualifications**



+ Typically requires a bachelors or masters degree in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and four or more years of engineering experience with a bachelors degree; or two or more years of experience with a masters degree.

+ Must have a general understanding of engineering concepts, principles, and theory with technical experience demonstrating the application of those concepts while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

+ Must possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment and organize work assignments to meet established timetables.

+ Good communication, computer, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

+ Must be able to work extended hours as required.
