The System Title would be Senior Test Engineer

The candidate will be responsible for managing the day to
day Software Configuration Management (SCM) activities to support through the
development cycle and support the users in using the SCM environment and
processes. The work includes close partnership with developers, test and
systems engineers for configuration management activities and traceability of
documents.

She/he will also be the administrator for tools used for
configuration management, defect management as well as tools used for overall
project execution and development of the Medtronic Dialysis System.

This person will work in collaboration with a global
development team based in India, USA and Italy to support the Software
development throughout the product development lifecycle.

This is an exceptional opportunity to support

process in a short duration.

Responsibilities:

 Perform the administrator role for tools used for
design and testing of software and firmware, and Application Lifecycle
Management (ALM). Confirmed list of tools includes Polarion, JIRA, and Jenkins.
Also help identify additional tools as required by the team based on changes in
the project plan and provide customization to the tools based on the needs of
the group.

 Manage software source code, change control,
configuration management; build integration and deployment activities; and
Setup Build Release mechanism for existing and new product lines.

 Management and maintenance of Jenkins server.

 Provide ongoing support to tool users, including
initial permissions, workstation setup and training, process enforcement,
troubleshooting issues, and expertise on how to use the tools

 Implement, manage, and validate customizations to
Polarion to support ongoing changing team needs

 Implement, manage, and validate any new tools
identified by the project team.

 Ability to establish builds processes, understanding
parallel and continuous build concepts and how to implement them and provide
the ability to automate the build processes using Jenkins

 Support trouble shooting related to network and Build
and Release deployments.

 Merging code developed by outsourced teams or within
the development team and manages the branching needed for different types of
releases.

 Ensure compliance with quality management and
regulatory standards applicable to software development for medical devices
industry.

 Manage tool contracts and lead negotiations for
contracts with the tool vendors.

Essential Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer
Engineering, or Electronics Engineering

 7+ years’ experience as a Software Release Engineer
supporting development of products with experience across the complete product
life cycle

 Experience with SCM tools including Polarion,
integration tools like Jenkins and project management tools like JIRA.

 Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Java
Script, Python

 Experience with validating tools for use in regulated
environments (medical, automotive etc.)

 Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability
to produce high-quality documentation

 Able to work in cross-functional and cross-cultural
global teams

 Able to participate in early morning and/or late night
calls with global partners

 Self-starter and entrepreneurial in nature

Nice-to-have Qualifications:

 Experience in the medical domain or any other regulated
industry such as automotive, aerospace, etc.

 Knowledge of data security and integrity, especially
for a healthcare application
