Description: This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced C/C++ Software Developer with a passion for developing high-performance 3D rendering solutions for end-users.  Responsibilities include regular collaboration with product management and end-users as well as implementation and maintenance of custom software applications written in C/C++. Our team members are collaborative and supportive and include world class researchers, active military aviators and other end-users.  We have a long history of building impactful solutions for our customers and are currently in the process of developing the next generation of mapping tools for U.S. DoD.  This effort requires the development of new geospatial rendering techniques tailored to specific problem domains.  The Developer will work in a small team environment with other experienced developers and will enjoy a significant degree of autonomy with respect to technical approaches and solutions.

We are located on Georgia Tech’s campus in Tech Square: an area that merges industry, academia, start-ups, and research institutions.  Our team is looking for smart, innovative developers to join a well-established group of developers, designers, and testers.  Our solutions typically can’t be googled and found in forums, they must be created.  We hope to create them with you. 


Research Scientist I

  • BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a comparable degree
  • Interest in pursuing MS degree or continued education

Research Scientist II

  • A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a comparable degree  and three (3) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of that degree,


  • Years of Professional Experience: Minimum of 4 years of C/C++
  • Strong C/C++ skills in a Windows environment


  • Ability to write and maintain high-performance, low level software with few or no dependencies
  • A working understanding of 3D mathematics and modern hardware-accelerated rendering techniques
  • Ability to write and maintain highly-optimized shader code (HLSL, GLSL, etc.)
  • Ability to invent brand new solutions and algorithms for unsolved problems
  • Ability to comfortably work in both modern and legacy codebases with little spin-up time


  • Candidate must be a US citizen capable of holding a Top Secret DoD security clearance.
  • An active security clearance is a major plus.
  • An understanding of mapping and geospatial rendering techniques is a major plus.
  • Aviation and/or Military experience is a plus.
  • Experience with embedded systems or real-time simulations is a plus.
  • Significant development experience with other environments (iOS, Android, Linux) is a plus.
