The candidate will serve as a subject matter expert pertaining to aircraft maintenance, logistics, and operations to enable the group to translate field data into actionable intelligence. The candidate should have a working knowledge of operations research, statistics, aircraft configuration and aircraft maintenance practices. Responsibilities of the analyst include but not limited to the following: Reviewing source data entries, analyzing maintenance and operational trends against design criteria and drawing conclusions from a wide variety of data. Responsible for the delivery, quality, communications, and accuracy associated with all outputs. Identify top readiness/cost drivers and reliability issues facing the helicopter fleet, and support corrective action tracking and implementation. Support development of new tools and processes to identify, quantify and predict cost and reliability issues facing helicopter fleet Interface with other Fleet Analytics team members to share best practices and discuss creative way for solving shared challenges. Communicate analytical findings to management and customer on a regular basis

Basic Qualifications
Strong understanding of statistics, data analysis, data manipulation and automation. The candidate should have the ability to take in large datasets (operating in a database environment), manipulate and analyze the data, and be able to publish the results

Database access tools; SQL, Oracle, etc.
Data analysis tools; MATLAB, Excel, JMP, etc.
Automation tools; Python, C, VBA, MATLAB, etc.
Data visualization tools; Tableau, etc
