Bristol-Myers Squibb is currently building a new state of the art Multi-Product Cell Culture biologics manufacturing facility in Cruiserath, Dublin 15, approximately $1 billion investment. Once completed, the new facility will significantly increase Bristol-Myers Squibb’s biologics manufacturing capacity and play a central role in its global manufacturing network.

BMS Cruiserath Biologics is seeking to recruit a Site Electrical Engineering Subject matter Expert (SME) to act as the site Electrical system owner providing engineering support for the entire site Electrical infrastructure, systems and equipment.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

As Site Electrical system owner provide engineering support for the site Electrical infrastructure, systems and equipment.

Assure all the electrical systems are in compliance with all Regulatory requirements including, Quality (cGDP/GMP’s), EHS, Global Engineering, design & construction directives, requirements & procedures, as well as all Local Regulatory requirements.
Develop or oversee the development of user requirements for new electrical equipment and modifications to existing equipment and systems from concept through supporting installation with the collaboration of stakeholders.
Develop, review and update the CMMS data, Spare parts requirements, PMs, PdMs, job plans etc. to ensure that all electrical maintenance schedules are designed to deliver cost effective, efficient reliability based maintenance programmes maximising uptime.
Perform and facilitate root-cause failure analysis (Cause Mapping) on chronic/critical/high impact failures.
Be the Electrical subject matter expert to support the on-the-floor troubleshooting of electrical issues.
Using the CMMS, review and accept maintenance reports from Vendors and contractors, develop action plans etc. to address any issues. Raise CMs/PMs/Pdm etc. to ensure the issues are appropriately addressed by assigned personnel to ensure no re occurrence of issues.
As Equipment and System owner be the owner of any change controls associated with the systems etc.
Develop budget for annual operation and any improvements/ modifications/projects related to electrical system equipment.
Complete the electrical safety corporate audits and electrical system audits including electrical LOTO and electrical contractor audits as per schedules. Ensure any actions arising from audits are followed through to completion. Participate in any regulatory agency (HSA) audits and corporate EHS audits on electrical safety.
Qualifications: Qualifications and Experience required:

The candidate will hold a minimum of a Level 8 BEng Degree in Electrical Engineering.
At least 8 years’ experience working in pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities in an electrical engineering role.
Detailed knowledge and experience in operating and design of Electrical equipment and systems.
Detailed knowledge and experience in the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry, with in-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements (safety and quality).
Experience dealing with regulatory agencies.
Experience as a team player prepared to lead, work effectively and efficiently in a team-based environment.
Ability to provide solutions that reflect understanding of business objectives and cost implications.
