Advanced Programs RF (APRF) is seeking an engineer with orbital design, analysis, and verification experience who will generate modeling/simulations and requirements for complex space-flight systems for a variety of configurations (companion satellites, clusters of satellites, multi-plane constellations, etc.). The individual will work closely with systems and payload design engineers to identify key algorithm requirements and hardware requirements which meet mission needs, design algorithms, and construct models for simulation and algorithm verification. Also, participate in proposals for future designs. This is a high-visibility, fast-paced environment with opportunities to work a variety of mission spaces and payloads

Basic Qualifications
(1) At least 2-5 years experience with orbital design and analysis for RF applications
(2) Proficient experience in RF modeling tools such as MATLAB, and familiar with RF link analysis and propagation effects,
(3) Familiar with orbital modeling tools, such as STK, for variety of orbital regimes
(4) Experience with technical presentations and ability to write technical papers
(5) Bachelors in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science or related field

Desired skills
(1) Experience in applying orbital mechanics to a variety of regimes such as LEO and GEO,
(2) Experience with cluster management of satellites and proximity operations
(3) Experience with mission analysis for space applications, such as signal collection or communications
(4) Experience with variety of payload architectures at the system level for variety of RF applications
