Seeking hands-on MBSE modelers to join our growing team of MITRE FFRDC engineers in San Diego. You will be involved in architecting innovative solutions for some of the governments most challenging system engineering problems.


Key Functions:


Leveraging leading architecture and analytic tools, you will be part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team researching, analyzing, and defining the systems and software architectures that provide the foundation of future Navy capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • BS and 3 years related experience

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience applying MBSE and developing integrated architectures using standards-based modeling languages (UML/SysML).

  • Experience with enterprise architecture modeling tools (MagicDraw, Sparx Enterprise Architect, Rational System Architect, Core).

  • Ability to grasp new domain and technical areas quickly.

  • Ability to communicate architecture views and analysis in technical reports and briefs.

  • Ability to engage with multiple stakeholders and solicit feedback to improve the relevance of the architecture.

  • Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science/Systems Engineering.

  • Understanding of systems engineering life cycle for developing software solutions.

  • Software development experience.

  • Familiarity with Confluence and JIRA.

  • Familiarity with DoD C2 and Intelligence systems.
