A versatile EO Design and Analysis Systems engineer is required to work with and lead small teams in multiple special programs contracts and IRAD research, design, and development efforts. Candidate will support the software and hardware integration for EO sensor systems including data collection, data analysis and data reduction tool development. Candidate will primarily focus on data analysis to support laboratory and flight testing and regular interface with management and customers. Ideal candidate will have recent experience in IRST system design, modeling, and analysis. Candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly agile environment with the ability to support multiple programs. Required skills/knowledge include a fundamental understanding of EO/IR sensor systems and IRST signal/track processing. Position requires C++ and MATLAB experience

An Electro-Optical (EO) engineer performs design and analysis of EO candidate systems for both ground and airborne sensor suite applications. Starting with target/threat signatures in the optical/IR realm, the EO engineer performs design trade studies and system verification analyses to optimize candidate system performance, cost, size and weight. Models and design solutions are fabricated for laboratory test and characterization prior to development of system porotypes for further verification testing. EO systems consisting of advanced optical/infrared material and coatings, state of the art sensors, and advanced laser systems are employed to achieve desired system level performance when integrated system level tower and field testing is accomplished.

Basic Qualifications
Candidate must have experience in radiometric EO analysis and simulation. Position requires operational knowledge of MATLAB, experience with running EO performance analysis simulations, and experience developing target models. The capability to conduct parametric studies to support advanced EO targeting sensor and seeker development is desired

Require Secret Clearance to start with an investigation within the last 5 years

Desired skills
Experience with Code V, MATLAB and MODTRAN is desired
