Senior Software Engineer

Senior Software Engineers. Multiple openings. Headquarters: Woburn, MA. Gather and analyze project requirements, design new enhancements, and design, develop and support all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle. Design and develop software applications and implement REST based web applications using Scala and Play web framework. Design database structures based on new features, perform development using Agile methodology, and use AWS to upload portfolios. Work with Webservices, Scala, Play Web Framework, SQL, Swagger, Docker, and Spark. 40 hrs/wk. Must have Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electr Engineering, or a related field (will accept a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of progressive post baccalaureate experience in lieu of a Master's) and 1 year experience (or 1 year experience as a Technical Lead, System Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupation). Must have 1 year experience analyzing requirements, designing new enhancements, designing, developing and supporting all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, and working with Webservices. Must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods of time.
