Senior Research Engineer
Location: Huntsville, AL

Must be able to obtain DoD Secret Security Clearance
Seeking qualified individual to support government acquisition of Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense capabilities. Individual will participate in the development, analysis, and evaluation of IAMD software requirements, architecture, component designs, and implementation. Individual will participate in technical working groups and provide leadership and subject matter expertise to support documentation of existing IAMD component architectures, capabilities, known issues, and limitations and recommend solutions or alternatives to close gaps. Individual will participate in the definition and evaluation of candidate system software architectures, applications, components, algorithms, and data interface transport methods/schemas. Individual will support integration, amd travel to support test, and exercise activities, including data analysis.

*Degree in engineering, computer science, or physics
*10 years experience
*Ability to travel
*Experience in system and software requirements analysis
*Experience with missile system analysis, modeling, and simulation
*Experience with radar system analysis, modeling, and simulation
*Experience with Java, C++ programming and code analysis
*Experience with system and software integration
*Experience with system and software architecture development and use of CASE tools e.g., Rational Software Architect, Magic Draw
