Integrate systems, system of systems engineering (SE/SoSE) across multiple disciplines and groups to design and secure enterprise network systems and information technology (IT). Guide efforts through gated technical reviews. Identify system requirements, interfaces, and risks. Conduct trade studies and technical assessments. Develop SE plans for Naval Command, Control, Communications, Computing, and Intelligence (C4I) systems.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in one of the following disciplines, Electrical, Computer or Systems Engineering or similar field

  • Possess the ability to be responsible for deliverables or parts of deliverables to customers

  • Secret clearance

  • *Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or applicants who are eligible for security clearances.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong foundation in SE and SoSE principles

  • 3+ years experience in one or more of:

    • Enterprise network architecture/design

    • Undersea network or communication systems design

    • Acoustic signal processing

    • Network security design and/or Defensive Cybersecurity Operations (DCO
  • Experience:

    • Quickly learning and adapting to new technical/operational domains

    • Leading and influencing cross-functional technical teams in applying sound SE approaches

    • Performing and briefing objective technical analyses (problem definition, courses of action, systematic evaluation of technical performance, cost and schedule)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with:

    • Naval undersea & C4I operations and/or systems

    • Design challenges of undersea systems

  • Experience:

    • Conducting SE for DoD acquisition programs

    • Applying the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to system acquisition efforts
