Job Details

Responsible for the concept, design and documentation of manufacturing tooling and equipment required to effect manufacturing processes IAW production rate requirements. Duties include development of tooling and equipment designs from engineering hardware specifications and culminating in complete technical data packages fully defining the tooling/equipment and allowing fabrication of detailed components and assembly of the end item. Design/documentation efforts to be accomplished IAW company standards utilizing Pro-Engineer

Basic Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree
-In depth knowledge of CNC Machining processes including programming, cutting tool selection, fixturing and general process development
-Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and develop tooling, equipment or fixtures that are required to manufacture the product
-In depth knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) IAW ASME Y14.5
-Proficiency with Pro-Engineer or similar CAD system and converting CAD data to CNC programs
-Knowledgeable of Machine/Tool Design
-Knowledgeable of General Manufacturing Processes
-Knowledgeable of Engineering Materials
-Proficient with MSOffice suite
-Must be able to obtain a secret security clearance

Desired skills
-Knowledgeable of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
-Knowledgeable of Welding processes
