Job Details

Provide oversight to a team consisting of salary and contractors operating within the AFO Finals and Hangar, ensuring aircraft completion according to blueprint requirements, and meeting customer schedule. Must be able to work in a union environment and ensure accurate and thorough communications with key internal and external customers as well as employees. This position reviews and approves the majority of new work instructions required to keep operations flowing seamlessly. Work within hangar with A&P mechanics solving concerns as they arise during hangar operations. Answering highly technical SA1230’s, writing rework operation sheets and consulting technical manuals for guidance as required. Position requires individual to pass flight safety approvers testing in order to approve flight safety planning. Take leadership role for all cost initiatives within the center as well as reducing SRR/AR

Basic Qualifications
3D Modeling (Catia V5 Software)
Stress/Structural Analysis (FEM – ANSYS Software)

Earned Value Management (EVM)

ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing

•Support of continuous improvement of Engineering Standard Work (Utilizing ACE tools)
•Experienced in CATIA V5 with 3-D solid modeling and surfacing skills
•Knowledge of the aircraft assembly and fabrication with associated tooling.
•Hands-on manufacturing experience within Sikorsky Final assembly and hangar
• Six Sigma or equivalent certification.
• Leadership skills, commitment to teamwork and performance on complex projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and working within a union Operations environment.
•Communication and Presentation skills
