Job Details

This Advanced Manufacturing Engineering position will be responsible for utilizing and enhancing our CNC programming and verification tools for scroll machining. The individual will also enhance our internal CNC programming standards and training program. They will work closely with the other Advanced Manufacturing groups, product engineering and plant production resources supporting current production process improvements and the release of new products. On-Site support of our scroll machining plants will be required. 
  • Utilize & Enhance CNC Programming Software and Verification Tools 
  • Utilize & Enhance CNC Programming Standards and Provide Training 
  • Develop and Debug complex CNC programs utilizing manual (G-Code) and CAM programming tools 
  • Utilize effective trouble shooting skills to isolate machining issues and implement solutions to address root cause 
  • Develop and Initiate process improvements by providing programming, tooling and fixturing solutions 
  • Interact with Scroll Design Engineers on NPD programs 
  • Ability to react quickly and manage multiple projects

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering/Technology plus 5 years' relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience (i.e. Associates Degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering/Technology plus equivalent years of education). 
  • Three to five (3-5) Years of CNC Programming and Hands on Machine Experience 
  • Three to five (3-5) Years of Auto-Cad and CAM Experience 
  • Three to five (3-5) Years of Tooling and Fixture Design 
  • Microsoft Office Experience


  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering/Technology plus 5 years' relevant experience. 
  • Five to ten (5-10) Years of CNC Programming in a High Precision Environment 
  • Five to ten (5-10) Years of 3D Modeling and CAm Experience (NX Preferred) 
  • Proven Project Management Skills 
  • Good Organizational, Project Management and Presentation Skills 
  • Ability to Manage Several Project at the Same Time 
  • Experience Working Independently and in Team Environment
