The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, show critical thinking and fast learning ability in their approach to problem solving.

Job Duties:
• System level design based on given algorithm, including hardware platform selection, system block diagram, and FPGA processing architecture
• RTL oriented DSP simulation
• FPGA oriented DSP algorithm optimization
• RTL design for both algorithm and hardware interfaces; RTL simulation
• System level RTL integration, compilation, with necessary timing and resource optimization
• System testing, FPGA function testing/verification over hardware platform and system join-testing with external connections
• Necessary software design to facilitate system testing
• Design and testing documentation

• Master's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
• 3-5 years’ experience in FPGA RTL design and DSP related system
• Familiar with FPGA architecture, in particular Xilinx FPGA architecture, and the skillset of FPGA-specialized optimization
• Familiar with FPGA development software
• Knowledge in digital signal processing; familiar with Matlab
• Independently operating hardware platform and running system testing
• C or C++ programming
• Electronic circuit design and fabrication

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
• Knowledge of state of the art PSoC architecture, bring-up procedure
• Knowledge of Linux operating system
• Linux driver design to enable system testing
