Job Details

The Systems and Software Configuration Management (SCM) Lead will have overall responsibility for SCM services and related SCM-owned tools/repositories across all programs. These responsibilities include:
1) SER and SES document releases
2) Pre-production and production software releases
3) Change management of SCM-released work products
4) Integrity of Project Level Folders (PLFs) in the Process Asset Library (PAL) in accordance with SCM standards
5) Version control tool project setup and updates in accordance with SCM standards
6) System/Software Configuration Management Plans (SCMPs) and Software Version Description Documents
7) Requirements for enhancements or implementation changes to the Project Management Console plugins, Problem/Change Reporting (PCR) System, and Process Asset Library (PAL) as needed.

The SCM Lead will work closely with the manager of the Process Management team, providing assistance as needed in the areas of Electronic Records Center and Sikorsky Aircraft Management Documentation services

The SCM Lead is expected to have in depth knowledge of configuration management principles, familiarity with system and software engineering processes, excellent problem solving skills, strong customer focus and commitment to quality service delivery. Preferred Candidate would have prior SCM experience and a strong record of working effectively with team, peers, and all levels of internal customers and management. Experience with process development, process improvement and Capability Maturity Model – Integrated background is highly desirable

Basic Qualifications
BS Degree in Software, Systems, or related discipline and Masters degree in Engineering or Business is preferred
