Job Details

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Responsible for developing and maintaining the necessary infrastructure to to test and validate HRL detector technologies. Collect performance data, automate and scale. Requires a robust systematic design-for-test methodology: test verification planning, defining test configurations, and optimizing infrastructure. Interaction with a cross-disciplinary team to iterate specifications. Ensure test configurations are integrated, operational, certified, and maintained.

EXPERIENCE DESIRED: 8+ years troubleshooting and testing semiconductor component technology. Track record of working in one or more of the following areas: device improvement, device characterization, modeling, and design validation through developing and executing an acceptance test plan. Experience with laboratory test equipment (and calibration) and characterization of semiconductor devices is required. Demonstrated ability to specify, integrate, and operate complex custom test equipment covering a range of specialty disciplines including: thermal management, signal integrity, radiometry, user interfaces, and data acquisition and analysis.

KNOWLEDGE DESIRED: Understanding of photoconductors, semiconductor device physics, and radiometry test practices covering visible and IR wavelengths is required. Familiarity with programming environments, databases, and hardware/firmware configuration control is required. Must be knowledgeable with laboratory test and measurement equipment, control software packages, and data analysis tools. Exposure to development principals such as: Agile tenants, iterative design, and small batch processing is highly desirable.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: Proficiency in use of computers, engineering work stations, test equipment, verbal and written communication, interaction with customers/colleagues, and a team-oriented/fast-paced environment.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (e.g. driver’s license special tools or restrictions):U.S. citizenship required. Ability to obtain Interim and/or Final Security Clearance (Post Start); Active DoD Security Clearance, SSBI is a plus.
