Description:  The Information and Communications Laboratory (ICL) at the Georgia Tech Research Institute is actively seeking a Research Associate I. The position is for a detail oriented research associate contributing to research and implementation of user-center design around healthcare applications and information architecture and STEM K12.  The candidate must be able to coordinate with project management, researchers, and developers to successfully integrate design elements into a functional system within each phase of development’s respective scope that meet the end users needs.

The applicant will be encouraged to explore their research interests that are in line with laboratory objectives and to eventually develop work in those areas.  The applicant will contribute to proposals and assist in business development as requested. 


Education: BA or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience: Candidate must have experience in user centered design, information architecture, web design and implementation, coordinating and managing research around successful communication methods.  The candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and web design and implementation.

Skills: Candidates must have the ability to manage research projects, make technical presentations, contribute to proposals, and work independently.

Other: Candidate must be a US citizen capable of holding a DoD Security clearance, active clearance a major plus
