This candidate will be part of a multi-instructor workforce for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) serving our International customers such as: Japan, Korea, Spain, Norway and Australia. This candidate will be part of Schoolhouse and Waterfront Teaching Cadre. Responsible for the development and implementation of updates to AEGIS curriculum training products. Additionally the position requires the ability for development of new curriculum and modifying existing curriculum. Conduct Train the Trainer (TTT) events as a presenter/instructor; presenting the Pilot Course including: instruction and pilot monitoring, providing difference training at shore sites and aboard ship, and providing follow up technical assistance. The trainer will be required to interface with a diverse workforce including program management, engineers, customers, and other contractors. Overseas travel may be up to 20% a year

Basic Qualifications
Candidate must have the following qualifications:

Specific areas of familiarization should include: SPY-1 RADAR B – B(V) – D and D(V).
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Experience as an Instructor and curriculum developer for Aegis courses of instruction
• Familiar with, NAVEDTRA 131 naval training standards and Instructional System Design
• Ability to create and update Lesson Plans, Trainee Guides, and Presentation materials
• Ability to instruct in both a classroom and laboratory
• Have operational experience as the Radar System Controller and be able to present technical data to Aegis junior Fire Control technicians. Candidate must have a 9502 NEC or be able to qualify as an instructor at the Aegis Training and Readiness Center IAW applicable qualification procedures
• Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

Desired skills
Navy Combat System shipboard experience with Command, Control, Communication and SPY-1B/B(V)/D elements of various AEGIS baselines both Commercial off the shelf (COTS) and Military Specification.

Ability to provide and experienced with tactical and technical training of enlisted personnel in a classroom and/or at waterfront environment

Knowledge of all Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) Baselines – 3.x/4.x/5.x./9C1/9C2

Familiar with SPY RADAR and BMD environments

Operational and Working knowledge of ACTs Training Supervisor and BFTT BOPC Operator
