Radar Research Engineer/Scientist/Technologist (Mid-Senior level) - 935 SEAL
Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI)
Location: Smyrna, GA
Description: Education: MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field. 5-15 years experience.
Ideal candidate will have relevant experience in some combination of:
Radar Hardware– RF/microwave (receivers, transmitters, phased arrays, solid state modules), power systems, manufacturing, test and integration (including antenna measurements, EMI/RFI), performance limitations;
Radar System Engineering– requirements development, performance assessment, radar resource management, tracking, discrimination, signal processing, waveforms (including high resolution), EA/EP techniques, test and evaluation, verification, software engineering (including Open Architectures);
Radar Analysis and Modeling– data analysis, modeling & simulation, algorithm development.
Candidates must have the ability to work independently while contributing to team efforts. GTRI seeks individuals with strong problem solving skills that are able to develop creative solutions. Experience managing research projects, making technical presentations, and writing reports is a plus.
Must be a US citizen able to obtain a DoD security clearance.
