Description: Radar/EW Research Engineer/Scientist/Technologist I for SEAL/SPTPO

The Sensor Protection Technology Program Office of the Sensors and Electromagnetic Applications Laboratory (SEAL) of the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is seeking qualified technical personnel to support test and evaluation activities and related hardware developments.  The ideal candidate will

  • Have a BS in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field, or have equivalent experience;
  • Understand fundamental signals and systems theory (e.g., Fourier analysis, sampling, filters, noise, basic modulations, etc.);
  • Have 3+ years of experience in RF design or testing (Co-op experience considered);
  • Have a Radar or EW background;
  • Be interested in field experiments and training exercises with advanced electronic devices and systems;
  • Be willing to travel approximately 30% time.

 

Radar/EW Research Engineer/Scientist/Technologist II for SEAL/SPTPO

The Sensor Protection Technology Program Office of the Sensors and Electromagnetic Applications Laboratory (SEAL) of the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is seeking qualified technical personnel to support test and evaluation activities, related hardware developments, and system engineering efforts.  The ideal candidate will

  • Have a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field;
  • Have a sound understanding of fundamental signals and systems theory (e.g., Fourier analysis, sampling, filters, noise, basic modulations, etc.);
  • Have 5+ years of applicable experience (Co-op experience considered);
  • Have expertise in more than one of the following areas, including at least one design area:
    • RF/IF signal processing;
    • Digital signal processing;
    • RF design;
    • FPGA design;
    • Embedded software design;
  • Have familiarity with Radar and/or Electronic Warfare;
  • Have experience or background in design of test procedures for field tests or hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) test beds;
  • Be interested in field experiments and training exercises with advanced electronic devices and systems;
  • Be willing to travel approximately 30% time.

US CITIZEN and Ability to obtain a secret clearance is required
