This individual will be the algorithmist overseeing the development of algorithms of a complex sensor subsystem that will be designed, built and tested to a Performance Based Specification by a subcontractor Effort includes:- Oversight of sensor algorithm design, integration, and test activities at subcontractor's facilities- Coordinating of sensor algorithm test activities with functional, program management, and customer- Coordinating algorithm portion of a Performance Based Spec updates with supplier and internal disciplines- Interfacing effectively with multiple functional groups including: engineering admin, designers, subcontracts, planning, and quality personnel during assembly and inspection process.- Coordination of performance trade studies using an integrated flight simulation (IFS). Individual will be responsible for algorithm requirements and related test activities. Travel is required to support customer coordination and qualification testing efforts at subcontractor

A Systems Radar Design and Analysis Engineer is responsible for the development of Radio Frequency systems (radar related systems and subsystems) to include design, integration, test, and performance evaluation. This activity includes a requirement to coordinate vendors and other team members in development of either passive or active RF sensor systems for integration test and evaluation. Activities inherent in the design process include support of trade studies, presentations, proposals and related activities.

Basic Qualifications
Candidate must have expertise in RF system performance analysis, system definition, requirements analysis, and flow down of systems requirements to testable modular hardware and software. Good hands-on hardware skills are desired. Excellent communication skills are beneficial

Experience with military Anti-Radiation Homing (ARH) or passive RF electronic surveillance (ES) hardware is of considerable value. Experience in ES/ARH systems engineering, algorithm development, signal processing, simulation and analysis tools (MATLAB) is specifically desired. The capability to develop threat models is especially valuable. Candidates should have a strong fundamental understanding of radar systems and performance modeling

Secret with an investigation within 5 years

Desired skills
Experience with multi-sensor data fusion is a plus. Understanding of inertial tracking and experience with Simulink is desired
