Define and control SoC controllers production Quality and Reliability procedures

  • Conduct silicon manufacturing quality and reliability issues resolution
  • Define and execute ASIC qualification procedures
  • Cross-team coordination (internal and 3rd party) to handle quality and reliability issues.
  • Manage ASIC RMA and FA, Execute 8D
  • Support PCN and ECN activities
  • Fab, Assembly and Test houses QA excursions and control
  • Fab process qualification/maturity definitions for mass production
  • Compose professional technical documentation for internal and external use.
  • Determine product quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes.
  • Establish statistical confidence by identifying sample size and acceptable error; determining levels of confidence.
  • Reliability modeling, and reliability demonstration tests (basic level as it relates to SSD Controller only).
  • Prepare (Reliability & FA) reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; making recommendations.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Requirements


  • 10+ years of quality & reliability experience working with IC semiconductor products
  • Minimum Bachelor of Science degree required in EE or related discipline.
  • Deep knowledge of device reliability physics and packaging related Q&R aspects, fail modes, and fail mechanisms
  • Experience with reliability HW setups and equipment for life, environmental, ESD, Latch-Up, etc., testing
  • Experience and technical capability to manage ASIC RMAs
    • Experience in driving to the physics of failure through efficient selection of analytical techniques
    • Experience in synthesizing root cause and recommended corrective action from the results of multiple analytical data sources
  • Data analysis skills, experience working with statistical tools
  • Experience applying JEDEC quality related standards, ISO, and the science behind them
  • Ability to write, review and contribute to engineering specifications
  • Experience and technical capability to manage ASIC RMAs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once. Flexibility and adaptability to accept new tasks
  • Dynamic and “can do” attitude with the desire to work with a great team and different products
  • Experience in managing multiple suppliers
  • Domestic and International Travel maybe required from time to time on irregular time frames
  • Experience with 28nm and 16/14nm processes
