You will provide technical and project leadership in support of numerous high priority programs in the Navys PEO for Unmanned and Weapons Programs.  Extensive acquisition and technical management experience with Naval Air Systems Command (ACAT I programs), a strong technical background, extensive weapons and datalinks knowledge are required. The successful candidate must also possess a strong aircraft test and evaluation background and ASW (Anti-Submarine Warfare) expertise. Major Program management experience (PMA leadership) is highly desirable.

  • Project Leadership for a growing PEO (U&W) portfolio


  • Senior Level sponsor (PEO) engagement


  • Frequent Customer (PMA) interaction


  • Test and Evaluation engineering


  • Weapons and Data Link engineering (Network Enabled Weapons)


  • Strike/ASuW Warfare SME


 












Required Qualifications



  • BS in an Engineering discipline or Physics


  • Naval Aviation domain knowledge with 10+ years of experience


  • Naval Strike Weapons experience


  • Test & Evaluation experience

Preferred Qualifications



  • MS with 15+ years of experience


  • DAWIA Certifications in Program Management, Test & Evaluation, and/or Engineering


  • Unmanned Aviation experience


  • SCI Clearance

 


Minimum Qualifications



Bachelors Degree in one of the following disciplines, Electrical,  Computer or Systems Engineering or similar field and 8 years related experience.  The candidate should possess the ability to define projects or programs greater than themselves.    Candidate understands that he/she will be responsible for work and/or customer relationship development and will acts according toand guides others towardthe proper balance of a) product depth with timeliness and b) technical improvements with programmatic constraints, even when hard compromises are required. Preferred candidates will be recognized by senior management as a thought leader.
