MITRE's Cyber Infrastructure
Department is seeking a Project Leader

to provide direct support to Calibri;mso-bidi-theme-font:minor-latin"> Air
Combat Command (ACC) A2/3/5/6.
The successful candidate will lead a growing 2.5 staff year project mso-bidi-theme-font:minor-latin">, working directly with the ACC to develop Offensive
and Defensive Cyber Operations (OCO/DCO) requirements that will shape Cyber as
a warfighting domain and protect and defend the AF network from intrusion and
attack.

Key Functions:



  • Lead an experienced team of engineers and their
    ongoing efforts to: (1) develop concepts that will lead to cyber
    operational capabilities and (2) generate requirements that will be processed
    through the Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS).
  • Execute work program across the AF and DoD
    cyber portfolios, ensuring a consistent and unified approach to cyber,
    leveraging best practices from System Security Engineering (SSE) and experiences
    in OCO/DCO.
  • Develop written products, executive-level
    presentations, technical reports, and prototypes that demonstrate novel
    solutions to sponsor problems

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of the AF Cyber domain organizations and stakeholders
  • Proven ability to effectively lead a complex task/project
  • Knowledge of advanced cyber threats and adversary methodologies
  • Understanding of Information Assurance aspects of cybersecurity (NIST 800-53, SANS Top 20, etc.)
  • Understanding of resiliency concepts as applied to Cyber Operations (Resiliency controls of NIST 800-53)
  • Experience with networks, network security, and related technologies

Minimum Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI clearance (or eligible)
  • BS and 8 years of related experience
