MITRE's Cyber Infrastructure Department is seeking a Project
Leader to provide direct support to Air Force Space Command (AFSPC). The
successful candidate will lead a 4.5 staff year project, working directly with
the A5C to shape and guide strategic and tactical enterprise efforts that
enhance Air Force (AF) Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) Offensive Cyber
Operations (OCO) missions. 

Key Functions:

  • Lead an experienced team of engineers
    and their ongoing efforts to: develop OCO Enterprise Architecture in support of
    the OCO Project Task Force (PROTAF), enhance DCO for weapon systems analysis
    activities, and support the Cyber
    Core Function Lead (CFL) transition from AFSPC to Air Combat Command (ACC).
  • Establish a trusted relationship with
    the government leadership, both program management and engineering, and team to
    shape the technical vision for the program.
  • Analyze and develop requirements for
    defensive and offensive cyberspace capabilities, emerging or through
    modification of current capabilities, for the defense of weapon systems.
  • Coordinate
    with 24AF, USCYBERCOM, AFLCMC, and other DoD entities to deconflict
    requirements and support acquisition efforts..

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of the AF Cyber domain
    organizations and stakeholders

  • Proven
    ability to effectively lead a complex task/project

  • DCO/OCO-related
    technical expertise

  • Familiarity
    with NIST SP 800-37 and NIST SP 800-53 r4


Minimum Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI clearance (or eligible)

  • BS and 8 years of related experience
