THAAD Development Program, Project Integration Engineer

The Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Project Integration Engineer reports directly to the THAAD ACD Project Manager with the following major roles and responsibilities:
• Support the THAAD Development Program Management team by leading special assignments (staffing assessments, programmatic issue identification/resolution, program integration, etc.)
• Generate / compile executive level briefings for internal / external status of key program issues
• Lead creation/implementation of new processes & tools to streamline management of a portfolio of IDIQ Task Orders and Development Initiatives
• Support creation of a Long Range Development Roadmap for the THAAD Program
• Monitor / report performance metrics for the THAAD Development Program

The candidate must be able to work effectively in fast paced and dynamic environments. The candidate must be able to lead effectively across all business functions. Work is performed without appreciable direction. Candidate exercises latitude in determining programmatic objectives and approaches to assignments

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education with commensurate years of professional experience.
• Strong organization, analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform research and analysis, synthesize results and present findings
• Experience generating content for Executive level briefings
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Excellent written, verbal and briefing/presentation and communications skills
• Motivated self-starter, with high attention to detail and the ability to multi-task

*This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen

Desired skills
• Familiarity with THAAD weapon system elements, capabilities and CONOPS
• Project Management Experience
• Previous experience as a primary representative to external stakeholders and/or collaborations efforts with a government customer
• Ability to manage escalations and appropriately communicate to all stake-holders and executive staff
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred
• Demonstrated experience with metrics collection and analysis
• Experience identifying and implementing process improvement recommendations
