Job Details

Program Manager of the Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Common Missile Compartment (CMC) Program. Responsible for the overall cost, technical and schedule planning and execution. The position reports to the Eastern Range Site Director. The Program will be run via Integrated Product Teams with members assigned from numerous organizations. Most team members will be located at the Post Production Center of Excellence; however some members will be located in other locations. The primary customers are Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) codes SP27, SP28, SP29/ PMS397, SPF and SPFC. The secondary customers are SSP codes SP2012 and SP26. Position will be located at the Eastern Range

*Ability to obtain SECRET Clearance required for this role
*This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen

Basic Qualifications
*Minimum of 8 years of related technical professional experience
*Minimum of 4 years of leadership experience
*Demonstrated knowledge of program management such as proposal activities, budget control, comprehensive program planning, resource loaded integrated master schedules, earned value management, risk management and resource utilization
*Demonstrated experience with US DOD customers, e.g. knowledge and experience with customer technical processes, business practices, operational processes and organizations
*Demonstrated knowledge of DOD contracting and contract management
*Exhibit all of the Full Spectrum attributes of shaping the future, building effective relationships, energizing the team, delivering results, and modeling personal excellence or equivalent leadership style
*Experience in developing and documenting trade studies and performing the associated analysis
*Experience leading technical working groups and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
*Experience as a Control Account Manager.
*Technical domain knowledge and demonstrated experience related to missile system performance and weapon system interfaces
*The candidate must possess or be eligible for a DOD Secret security clearance and shall be required to apply for a Top Secret clearance. Must be willing to travel 1-2 times per month

Desired skills
*D5 Missile System and Weapon System knowledge
*Experience with missile system Integration, Assembly and Test
*Knowledge and familiarity with Navy SSP customer technical processes, business practices, and organization
*Background in Systems Engineering, Product Team project leadership, and/or program management
*Develops solutions to complex problems
*Demonstrated ability to build, maintain, and coach a team, which includes the execution and evolution of a business rhythm that effectively communicates and achieves program objectives and priorities.
*Experience in understanding, integrating, and driving technical projects to closure to ensure successful completion from a cost, technical, and schedule perspective
*Capability to work with other companies, organizations, and cross functional teams in a formative and dynamic environment
*Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to listen to, organize, motivate, and lead large groups of diverse personnel that includes both military and civilian customers, business partners, and suppliers
