Job Details

This position is for an IMS Scheduler in support of the LCS Sustainment Team in Mayport FL. The successful candidate will:
1. Independently review and develop Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical work schedules for equipment modification, repairs and technical specifications to ensure durations meet availability milestones. Provide duration for each work item to supporting vendors
2. Develop and update LCS Class ships availability schedules to include Continuous Maintenance Availabilities (CMAV), Planned Maintenance Availabilities, Post Delivery Availabilities (PDA) and Post Shakedown Availabilities (PSA) IMS
3. Develop and update Preventative Maintenance Availability IMS
4. Provide deck plate support (scheduling and management) of the all maintenance actions on LCS Class ships during CMAV, PDA and PSA
5. Assist in the monitoring and status of LCS Class HM&E equipment progress in the IMS
6. Assist the LCS Class design and execution team in documenting schedule impacts on LCS Class Ships availabilities due to conditions found
7. Provide updates to LM Senior management on progress of selected availabilities while working with LM finance employees for reporting Schedule Performance Index (SPI) to LM senior management and US Navy customer

Basic Qualifications
Expertise developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules

Thorough knowledge of LCS ship-board systems and maintenance tasks with the ability to de-conflict maintenance activities

Experience executing Continuing Maintenance Availabilities, Post Shakedown Availabilities and Dry Dock work

Desired skills
Ability to effectively communicate project status to US Navy and Government personnel
•Proficient in MS Office, MS Project and Adobe Reader
•Self-driven and results-oriented individual capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and demonstrate the ability to multi-task
•Extensive, applied use of MS Excel in creating detailed, interactive spreadsheets, workbooks, and databases
•Demonstrated proficiency with MS Project scheduling software
•A proven ability with creating reports by relating and extracting data from a variety of software platforms
DESIRED:
1. Knowledge of LM Internal Software including MAXIMO
2. Adept at queries and report writing
3. Experience in data mining techniques and procedures and knowing when their use is appropriate
4. Experience using Earned Value Management to track project status
5. FREEDOM Class LCS maintenance experience
* Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
