This position is for an Project Engineer (PE) on the Air National Guard (ANG) program. The PEwill be accountable for the overall engineering technical, cost, and schedule performance on a specific program
- Provide primary Tech Ops interface with Program Office/Customer for all programmatic items on a specific program issues
- Meets or exceeds all technical commitments made to the programs
- Tracks Estimate to Cost (ETC)/Earned Value Management (EVM)/Metrics to monitor program performance and identify technical or Tech Ops staffing risks
- Manages cost and schedule
- Ensures requirements baseline is documents, tracked, and maintained
- Ensures all requirements are verified
- Ensures establishment and tracking of key Technical Performance Measures (TPM)
- Provides timely and accurate projections of Engineering resource requirements (people, tools, processes, etc.) Works with Program Manager (PM) to ensure the Workforce Planning Tool, GRID, is up to date
- Works closely with functional first and second line functional leaders to identify and secure appropriate staffing
- Responsible for coordinating with Program
Management Office (PMO) on proposed engineering staffing changes prior to changes occurring
- Works with Program Management to ensure organizational standard processes are adapted, approved and followed
- Leverages proven processes, lessons learned, and best practices from other parts of the business or industry

Basic Qualifications
- Must have Project Engineering (PE) or Engineering Project Management (EPM) experience which includes Control Account Manager (CAM) and leading teams through conflicts
- Must have experience working on flight simulators
- Must have experience with C-130 or similar platforms
- Must have at least five (10) years of experience working on US Government programs and dealing directly with the end users as well as the Systems
Program Office (SPO)
- Must have extensive experience leading and developing all material necessary for Baseline Reviews (BRs), Systems Requirements Reviews (SRRs), Design Reviews and Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs)
- Must have at least five (5) years experience working proposals, developing the technical solution, Integrated Master Plans (IMPs), performing a technical evaluation and creating Basis of Estimates (BOEs)
- Must have experience working with subcontractors and suppliers
- Must be willing to travel ~ two weeks a month,
- This experience must include program planning, cost, schedule, performance and subcontract management.
- Candidate must have demonstrated experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment, must be process oriented and highly experienced in maturing a total system solution throughout the entire system lifecycle from identification of stakeholder needs through sustainment

Must have a final Secret security clearance
