This position supports the LCS Post Delivery program in Jacksonville, FL, as the on-site coordinator of Facilities Maintenance (FM) for our Sustainment team. This position performs the following functions:
1. Coordinate the planning of Facilities Maintenance Availabilities for FREEDOM Class LCS ships, including:
a. Scheduling
b. Labor
c. Material
d. Execution Oversight
e. Liaison with ship’s crew
2. Work with FM planners to determine the scope of work
3. Deconflict FM work with other maintenance and the ship’s schedule
4. Provide applicable guidance to maintenance workers
5. Ensure all work conforms to safety and operational policies

*** This position is contingent on contract award, anticipated Spring 2017 ***

Basic Qualifications
1. Familiarity with the Joint Forces Maintenance Manual (JFMM)
2. Familiarity with the requirements for surface and deck coatings for US Navy Ships
3. Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
4. Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
5. Proficient in MS Office products.
6. Team player with process improvement qualities; organizational skills; and attention

Desired skills
1. Navy ship engineering and systems familiarity.
2. Navy maintenance process and resources familiarity
3. Experience with Joint Forces Maintenance Manual (JFMM) and specifically with the development of 4E Work Specifications
4. NACE Level 1 Certification
5. Navy ship Hull, Mechanical, Electrical (HM/E), Deck equipment and Combat Systems equipment and systems expertise.
6. FREEDOM Class LCS Experience
7. Familiarity with Maximo® CMMS
8. Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills.
9. Excellent oral and written communication skills
