Review and approve engineering products, generate technical documentation for develop technical data packages that define integrated combat systems configurations for USN ships and facilities.Review technical drawings to identify and resolve errors, missing information, corrective actions, and engineering assumptions. Conduct Technical Interchanges with community stakeholders. Take direction from senior engineers. Work as a member of a team of engineers and technical support personnel to develop quality, innovative solutions for combat systems integration
Basic Qualifications
Accredited degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology or commensurate experience
Strong MS Office skills, and familiarity with AutoCAD
Attention to Detail! Ability to switch between projects, and adjust to changing priorities
Position may require infrequent travel and work at other LM sites, customer sites, industrial sites, or test facilities to support customer requests or technical discussions
Desired skills
Strong interpersonal skills, and demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team
Understanding of configuration management practices
Additional consideration given to candidates familiar with combat systems on U.S. Navy ships, particularly Aegis ships
