Job Details

The Keller Center for Innovation in Engineering Education and the Electrical Engineering Department at Princeton University seek applications for a Professional Specialist in Entrepreneurship and Design Thinking. This position reflects Princeton's broadening scope of entrepreneurship activities in the School of Engineering and Applied Science. The appointment is half-time for the year and may be extended subject to satisfactory performance and continued funding. The Professional Specialist will conduct numerous workshops for undergraduate and graduate students. In addition, the Professional Specialist will act as a key advisor to students in the Keller Center's new undergraduate certificate "Program in Entrepreneurship", helping students with course and practicum requirements. He/ she will also mentor and advise students interested eLab program, a program that helps student entrepreneurs develop their nascent business ideas into viable businesses. The Professional Specialist may have the opportunity to teach courses, subject to sufficient enrollments and approval by the Dean of the Faculty. Any teaching would be in the areas of entrepreneurship and design thinking, and would be expected to bring a unique educational experience to students through classroom teaching and other projects. Candidates will be evaluated according to their professional accomplishments, track record of entrepreneurial activities, and teaching ability. The appointment will be made through Electrical Engineering department. This position is subject to the University's background check policy.

Requirements
