This position on the Capability Demonstration team will play a vital role in the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Flight Test Program thru support of Test Missile Kit (TMK) production.

General roles & responsibilities associated with the Capability Demonstration team, the technical branch of the FBM Program Office dedicated to supporting flight test, include: 1) serving as a key interface to the customer for all flight test related issues and support 2) ensuring technical requirements are established / modified based on flight test program needs 3) performing programmatic integration of technical issues across FBM and customer counterparts to ensure flight readiness and success

As a Production Integration Engineer, you will specifically be responsible for: 1) playing an active role in coordinating technical and operational requirements associated with TMK hardware 2) Ensuring proper coordination/balance of cost, schedule, and technical impacts to flight hardware as part of the ongoing TMK production program 3) Prioritizing expenditure of TMK hardware based on various technical and programmatic constraints.

You will also aid in providing direction for unique hardware operations that deviate from existing processes/standards, coordinating inputs for customer initiated What-ifs, participating in flight test related readiness reviews, resolving Test Missile Kit (TMK) Production issues, assessing impacts associated with Range Safety liens, and ensuring existing TMK inventory supports the upcoming flight test schedule. This will require close coordination across several organizations including Avionics, Systems Engineering, Test & Support Products, and Quality Assurance in addition to the Navy customer

*This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen
*Ability to obtain Secret Clearance is required for this role

Basic Qualifications
*Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Master’s degree.

*Must have experience in electronics/electrical engineering

*Experience participating in package and/or system level failure investigation and resolution and analyzing/interpreting technical requirements

*Ability to coordinate technical issues across multiple teams/customers

*Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

*Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance is required for this role

Desired skills
*Demonstrated strong communication skills (verbal, presentation, and written)
*Strong organizational and team/relationship building skills
*Experience on a DoD program, preferably Missile Defense, working directly with customer counterparts to resolve technical issues
*Knowledge of the Fleet Ballistic Missile, Test Missile Kit architecture/operation, and FBM Flight Test Program
*Knowledge and understanding of FBM processes, procedures and systems. e.g.; flight test planning, In-tube Conversion, Test Missile Kit testing, flight readiness milestones, waivers and deviations, hardware alterations and modifications, configuration management, and development / promulgation of integrated program positions
*Experience with Telemetry, Tracking, and Flight Termination flight hardware development and production
* Secret Clearance
*Willing to travel up to 10%
