Job Details

A Systems Radar Design and Analysis Engineer is responsible for the development of Radio Frequency systems (radar related systems and subsystems) to include design, integration, test, and performance evaluation. This activity includes a requirement to coordinate vendors and other team members in development of either passive or active RF sensor systems for integration test and evaluation. Activities inherent in the design process include support of trade studies, presentations, proposals and related activities.

Individual’s experience should include weapon IR&D with guidance focus and related business development. A familiarity with both RF and EO/IR sensors, experience either as technical lead or SME for weapon guidance section modeling and simulation is a highly desired. Experience developing and exploiting algorithms for advanced processing is required

Basic Qualifications
Candidate must have expertise in RF system performance analysis, system definition, requirements analysis, and flow down of systems requirements to testable modular hardware and software. Good hands-on hardware skills are desired. Excellent communication skills are beneficial

Candidate must have an active secret clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years to be considered for this position

Desired skills
Experience with military Anti-Radiation Homing (ARH) or passive RF electronic surveillance (ES) hardware is of considerable value.
The capability to develop threat models is especially valuable.
Simulink experience is of significant benefit. Experience in ES/ARH systems engineering, algorithm development, signal processing, simulation and analysis tools (MATLAB) is specifically desired
Candidates should have a strong fundamental understanding of radar systems and performance modeling
