What’s special about this team:


The Regulatory Affairs Team works with global cross-functional partners to ensure regulatory and safety compliance of Amway products sold globally. Specific focus of this team is to support the launch of new products. Regulatory Affairs provide counsel to product development teams in the Durables, Beauty, Home & Personal Care areas, on product labeling, safety, claims, and registration requirements to deliver global launches of the safe and effective products. How you would contribute to the role:


In this role, you will be responsible for the regulatory and certification compliance of Amway Durables products sold in over 80 countries and territories around the globe. As a global regulatory partner, you will monitor and interpret current, pending, and future product regulations and safety requirements. Your ability to guide durables product development teams in product safety and regulatory compliance issues will be of great value. You will participate in concept reviews for our Durables brands (Sky and Atmosphere), label development, and international claims development for our durables products. You will interact with global testing labs and certifiers, and will oversee certification testing on new and existing products. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work with our global affiliates, developing relationships with regulatory partners both inside Amway, and in the industry. This role involves initiating, preparing, and publishing electrical and appliance regulatory strategies. What skills and background will be important to be successful:

  • Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in an electrical/durables regulatory environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in regulatory compliance with electrical appliances, interpreting regulatory issues
  • Talent to read and interpret the impact of regulatory changes for appliances
  • Global exposures with experience working cross functionally or on global project teams
  • Ability to offer thought leadership and strategic recommendations for improvements
  • Talent to communicate across cultures, with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • BS degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
