This position will support Space Based Infrared System (SBIRS) program on the Engineering Manufacturing Development (EMD), Contractor Logistics Support (CLS), SBIRS follow-on production (SFP), and GEO 5/6 Production & Modernization contracts . The qualified candidate will directly support the SBIRS SEIT System Test CORE Team responsible for Systems integration, Systems Engineering, System Test, and end-to-end System Interface Engineering, Integration and Test. The successful applicant will be based on Buckley AFB with minimal travel to Boulder, Schriever AFB, Sunnyvale, Los Angeles Air Force Base and will interface with multiple contractor and government development, test, acquisition, and operations organizations. Duties will include leading efforts to improve combined segment/system deliveries, fielding of new capabilities and modifications, and leading the enterprise scheduling for all system resources for the Integrated MilSpace SEIT. Also performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal

Basic Qualifications
• Aerospace systems engineering, system integration, systems test, requirements and verification experience
• 4 years SBIRS program experience
• Full life-cycle experience developing and delivering complex systems of systems
• Experience with developing processes for more streamlined execution
• Experience with DoD and Air Force space acquisition
• Intimate knowledge of SBIRS missions, infrastructure, and organizational constructs
• Strong leadership and team building skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communications skills
• Experience dealing with senior customer representatives
• Current DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance eligible

Desired skills
• Previous technical leadership experience on SBIRS Program
• Experience with SBIRS Processes to include program review boards, engineering review boards, discrepancy review boards, configuration management, requirements verification, and Government Furnished Equipment
