Job Details

We are looking for an Optical Test Engineer for MEMS Devices. This engineer will design and build manufacturing electro-optical test systems that ensure product performance at the customer. This engineer will also contribute to new applications of optical MEMS. We are looking for a person with excellent technical and interpersonal skills, a good communicator, and someone who can comfortably work in a multidisciplinary field. Our company has a casual working environment, but high standards of performance.

Primary Areas of Responsibility
This Test Engineer will be responsible for designing and building and test systems of optical MEMS devices

Minimum Qualifications
• Education: MS or PhD in Optics/Applied Physics/ Physics / EE
• 3-7 years experience
• Optical design
• Strong analytical skills
• Instrumentation and LabView
• Experience in optical characterization and testing
• Understanding of materials properties: mechanical, electrical, and optical
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexible and a team player

Additional desired qualifications
• Fundamental electronics and IC test and measurement experience
• High speed electronics (PCB design, FPGA)
• Software (C++, LabView, MatLab, other)
• Firmware and control systems
