Incumbent will perform Operations Analysis as either study lead or team participant. In doing so, incumbent will apply Lockheed Martin’s 8-step analysis process to obtain traceable, supportable results that answer the overarching question in each case. Incumbent will work without appreciable direction, exercising considerable latitude in determining study objectives and team approaches to execution. Individual will lead efforts identify and obtain, models, simulations and other tools required to conduct such analyses.

Incumbent will serve as the Subject Area Domain Lead in appropriate subject areas based on the individual’s knowledge and experience base. In doing so, incumbent will demonstrate extensive OA expertise as well as full knowledge of related subject areas; be up to date on the latest developments in the subject areas; take initiative to gather and disseminate information and data in the subject areas; and serve as a consultant, participating in analysis activities involving the subject areas.

Incumbent will build relationships and demand for OA with RMS and Corporate support functions including Strategy and Business Development, Program Management Office, and Engineering and Technology. Individual will liaison with senior internal and external stakeholders and will represent the organization as the primary OA contact for programs, captures, and technology investment planning

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree from an accredited college in Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Management Science, or technical degree with equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of military operations, tactics, and organization.
- Expertise in computer-based analytical tools and office applications
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance

Desired skills
- Military operational experience
- Advanced Degree in Operations Research or equivalent work experience
- Modeling and Simulation experience (preference for experience with Navy, Army standard analysis and modeling tools).
- Knowledge of major combat simulations and models, analytical methods, sensors and weapon systems
- Knowledge/experience analyzing cross-domain operational effects
- Knowledge/experience performing target specific threat assessment to maximize mission capabilities and effectiveness
- Knowledge/experience maintaining and developing SME-level knowledge on threat system capabilities as it pertains to mission effectiveness
- Experience successfully participating in, and leading teams as part of, an operations analysis organization with defined processes and partnerships and sustained success delivering OA results
