Lockheed Martin is looking for world-class technical leadership talent in Operations Analysis to join our historic Skunk Works team in Marietta, GA. We are seeking a candidate who thinks strategically and creatively with proven analytical & engineering problem-solving skills; is passionate about working on cutting-edge design concepts and comfortable with ambiguity; and thrives in a high-performing team environment
This position requires the candidate to perform modeling and analysis of military systems & operations. Working with a team of analysts, the candidate will lead analyses to quantify the impact of system design, payloads, Concept of Operations (CONOPS), and advanced technology employment on survivability & mission effectiveness; supporting requirements definition, operational & cost effectiveness studies, and military utility assessment. This position requires a highly motivated analyst to apply operational knowledge, engineering/physical principles, analytical techniques, and mathematical concepts/theories to analyze the performance & effectiveness of system concepts.
We are seeking a candidate who can develop and use engineering-based techniques, advanced analytical methods, and critical thinking to inform and improve decision-making and quantify value propositions associated with C-130J, advanced air refueling concepts, and future strategic airlift concepts. The selected candidate will support internal and external customers and must be: an effective communicator, have strong subject knowledge of airlift and tanking operations, and effective leadership skills to organize and task small teams. Tasking will include briefing internal and external customers, developing briefing material for customer engagements, managing tasks from internal customers and contract work, and performing a variety of airlift and tanker related studies. This position leads to an Operations Analysis technical lead or manager career path

Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

Must be a US Citizen, position is located at a facility that requires special access

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor degree or above in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
Experience working on Windows or LINUX computer systems
Programming or scripting language(s) knowledge & experience such as - MATLAB, Perl/Python, C/C++, C#, or Java
Must have the ability to obtain a DOD Top Secret clearance and access

Desired skills
Experience with engagement or mission level simulation models like AFSIM, EADSIM, ESAMS, or SUPPRESSOR
Proficiency in design of experiments, trade space exploration, and optimization
Active DOD clearance
Experience leading small teams (1-5 people)
Demonstrated analytical thinking & problem solving for self-lead, open ended problems
Proficiency to apply engineering principles, analytical techniques, and mathematical concepts to analyze the performance & effectiveness of systems
Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
