Lockheed Martin is looking for world-class talent in Operations Analysis to join our historic Skunk Works team located in Fort Worth. As a member of the Operations Analysis organization, the candidate will be performing modeling and analysis of military systems to quantify the impact of operational concepts (CONOPS), system design, payloads, weapons and tactics, and force size/mix, as well as perform analysis to support requirements definition, concept of operations evaluation, operational and cost effectiveness studies, and military utility assessment. Responsibilities will include researching military systems performance and operations, modeling cost effectiveness metrics for domestic and international force structures, generating Operating and Support (O&S) cost assessments, and providing various force structure assessment trades. In this role, the individual will act as the Operations Analysis Cost lead.

Must be a US Citizen, position is located at a facility that requires special access


Basic Qualifications

Must have Bachelor's or above technical degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, Operations Research, Finance, or Business Management

Experience with analytical thinking and problem solving skills

Understanding of DoD Acquisition

At least five years experience in military force structure and acquisition programs.

Must have a interim secret to start with the ability to obtain a Top Secret SAP/SAR clearances

Desired skills

Prior experience in system engineering or military operations analysis desired; including, experience in military constructive simulations or trade study design

Knowledge of military acquisition programs, finance modeling, cost benefit analysis, force structure studies, and/or campaign modeling

Familiarity with military (domestic and international) force structures and service management systems/databases such as AFTOC

Prior experience with Excel and VBA

Mathematical and/or Statistical Modeling skills

MATLAB knowledge

Knowledge of military systems; with experience modeling employment of weapon systems and the operation of threat air & ground systems in simulations

Prior experience with Operational analysis Tools is desired

Design of experiments and/or optimization knowledge

Ability to formulate structured approaches for analyzing complex problems involving multiple domains.

Ability to quickly learn new technologies and model them in a system of systems framework

Good written and verbal communication skills

Strong computer skills are required, and the candidate must be experienced with and fluent in Microsoft Office suite
